The Bayesian Plugin was written in response to the large amount of spam currently infecting the Internet. It is a plugin for the SpamPal email filtering program written by James Farmer. Up to Version 1.06 the Plugin was exclusively written by Tim Attwood of Status3 Software . Due to time constrains, he was forced to stop the developement on the Plugin. Hence the developement was handed over to the SpamPal Community and the Source was released under the GPL.
